About the Artist

Luna Moore Latorre is an artist, author, and book editor from and living in Southern California. Her art explores themes of mysticism, nature, the universe, the passage of time, matriarchy, and the full spectrum of human emotion, all centered around a female, lesbian, biracial & bicultural, and autistic experience. Luna is 27 years old, the daughter of a Colombian/Mexican American mom and a Scottish/Irish American dad, and the author of Fénix in Flight (a YA dark fantasy novel) and Chrysalis (a full-length poetry collection). Her short stories and poems have been published in Assignment Magazine, Literally Stories, Yellow Arrow Journal, and more. When she is not writing or drawing, Luna loves reading, dancing, hiking, and listening to music.
